“S.E.D.-SPb” JSC

“S.E.D-SPb” JSC (Svetlana Electron Devices) was founded in 1992 on the basis of a research and production complex for the development and production of high-power generator and modulator thermionic valve, a subsidiary of “Svetlana” JSC.

Areas of application of the company’s main products:
– communication and telecommunication systems;

– scientific research, including charged particle accelerators and so on;

– industrial applications (including metallurgy and metal processing), heating, melting and welding of various materials.

Carrying on the traditions of “Svetlana” Association, the group’s enterprises – “S.E.D.-Spb” JSC and “Svetlana- X-ray” JSC – have started production of a new domestic X-ray diagnostic tube unit IRD-67 based on 27-75BD67-150 tube for radiographic and fluorographic devices since 2021.

Since October 1, 2024, the serial production of the IRM-69 mammographic X-ray tube assembly in various versions based on X-ray tubes produced by Svetlana-X-ray JSC 4-16BD69-49 and 2.4-10BD70-40 has started.

At the moment, new X-ray tube assembly are also being developed.
